– San Francisco, California –

The Potrero Power Station is part of the San Francisco’s newest major development of the existing waterfront. The temporary building shoring provided support to the 60-foot tall unreinforced brick walls during the demolition of the interior floors and the adjacent structure. Due to obstructions and limited access around three sides of the building, shoring towers could only be located on the east side of the site. Large pipe braces and walers were used to tie the remaining three existing walls back to the shoring towers.
